A brush, particularly an interdental brush, comprises an elongate, filamentary self-supporting spine (11; 31) having at least its surface formed of a homogeneous polymeric material. Bristles (15; 34) are adhered by means of an adhesive layer (14; 35) to at least a portion of the spine to form a brush portion. The spine consists of a monofilament (12) or a polymer-coated metal wire (31). The brush may be made by depositing the bristles electrostatically on the adhesive coated spine, then hardening the adhesive. |
