A flame-retardant resin composition comprising the following components (A), (B), (C) and (D): (A) 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin comprising 1/ &cir& a polycarbonate resin, or 2/ &cir& a polycarbonate resin and a non-polycarbonate resin, (B) from 0.1 to 40 parts by weight of a phosphorus compound, (C) from 0.001 to 40 parts by weight of a boron compound, and (D) from 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of a polyorganosiloxane and/or from 0.001 to 5 parts by weight of a fluorine resin.
