PURPOSE:To make it possible to mix and display pictures dependent upon pattern transmission and code transmission, by processing information with pattern transmission and code transmission mixed without increment of the circuit scale. CONSTITUTION:Picture information is taken into CPU1 through input port 12 and is stored temporarily in RAM3 as a buffer memory. When detecting the framing code from picture information, CPU1 establishes bit synchronization of picture information. Next, it is detected whether the character is pattern information or code information by the service code indicating pattern transmission or code transmission for each character; and if it is pattern information, picture information stored in system RAM3 is transferred to display memory 7 directly. If it is code information, a pattern corresponding to the code is retrieved from character pattern ROM9, and this pattern is transferred to display memory 7. |
