<p>In order to provide an operationally-reliable and well-functioning suspension for a chain (36) on a swing or similar recreational device, one of the chain links (44) is secured in a retaining part (6) which is free to turn in the chain's tractional direction (4), said retaining part (6) being fastened to a swivelling body (3) which is in turn mounted in a pivot element (1, 2) which can rotate around an axis (5) on an axle (13, 19) which is secured in a horizontal manner to the support piece, either in the form of a boom (16) or a post (18). This ensures uniform loading of both the suspension and the chain, in that these are not exposed to any significant loads due to twisting or bending, whereby the hitherto-known damage by wear between the chain link and the suspension hook is avoided and the generation of noise is eliminated. <IMAGE></p> |
