24205-935 Disclosed are a monoclonal antibody which specifically recognizes 6,15-diketo-13,14-dihydro-prostaglandin F1.alpha. with high sensitivity, a hybridoma producing the monoclonal antibody, a method of preparing the hybridoma and an immunoassay method for 6,15-diketo-13,14-dihydro-prostaglandin F1.alpha. using the monoclonal antibody. The monoclonal antibody makes it possible to conveniently measure with specificity and high sensitivity 6,15diketo-13,14-dihydro-prostaglandin F1.alpha. that is a stable metabolite of prostaglandin I2. The monoclonal antibody is useful in determining the content of prostaglandin I2, which exhibits platelet aggregating inhibitory activity, vasodilating activity and other activities, in biological samples.
