PURPOSE:To allow other slave sets than a relevant slave set to be unable to listen to reproduction of a message by providing a ciphering function of the message to each slave set. CONSTITUTION:A caller sends a slave set designation signal by a caller telephone set so that a message is reproduced by a specific slave set B. The slave set designation signal is impressed to a speech control circuit 6 via a dial transmission circuit 4. The speech control circuit 6 detects and discriminates the slave set designation signal and sends its discrimination signal to a central arithmetic operation circuit 22. The central arithmetic operation circuit 22 stores a caller message to an address location on a RAM 23 in which the specific slave set B designated based on the program stored in a ROM 24 is reproduced. The designated slave set accesses the message signal stored in the RAM 23 of a master set A by using a password to reproduce and listen to the message.
