PURPOSE:To prevent a river wear at parts along zig-zag main grooves extending along the circumference of a tire tread, and secure a driving and braking performance of a tire. CONSTITUTION:A conical protrusion 6 is provided at a groove wall 7 of a V-shaped through part 4 between ridge parts 3 protruding toward the center of a main groove 2 in both banks of the zig-zag main grooves 2 extending continuously along the circumference of a tire tread 1 for increasing the ridigity of the adjacent ridge parts 3 and preventing a river wear. By providing a dent parts 8 in the counter ridge part 3 of the protrusion 6, a sectional surface of the main groove 2 is secured, and a tire width component of an edge of the main groove 2 is increased, thereby a driving and braking performance can be improved. |
