<p>PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of various picture compression processings using the time base correlations of a picture by performing the picture compression processing after removal of displacement of the picture due to camera shake. CONSTITUTION:The video signal obtained by an image pickup element 2 is converted to a digital signal by an A/D converter 3, and this digital video signal is subjected to the frame correlation picture compression processing using time base correlations after displacement (camera shake) of the picture is removed by a shake correcting circuit 5 in consideration of output information of a blur/pan sensor 12, and the digital video signal subjected to the compression processing is stored in a solid-state storage memory 8.</p> |
