摘要 PURPOSE:To control the cost of the charging equipment of a trolley-type charging apparatus in an unmanned car and to give a well-balanced charge to a plurality of unmanned cars. CONSTITUTION:A traveling path, where an unmanned car l loaded with a battery 18 is self-advancing by steering along a guidepath wire 2, is provided with a charging area 4 divided into a plurality of parts, and trolley wires 5, 6 are arranged and battery chargers 7, 8 are provided in each divided charging area. On the other hand, each unmanned car 1 is provided with a constant-current circuit for controlling flowing of electric current of a value exceeding a specified value set beforehand inputted to the battery 18 via the trolley wires 5, 6. In each unmanned car 1, thus, the trolley wires 5, 6 and a contact 12 provided in the unmanned car 1 come into sliding contact with each other and pass through each charging area 4a, 4b so that the battery of the unmanned car is charged stepwise with electricity. Because each unmanned car 1 is provided with the constant-current circuit in this case, a charging current is distributed in a well-balanced manner without being influenced by whether the battery capacity of each unmanned car 1 is high or low.
