A method for testing the electronic connections in an electronic system and a device for implementing the method. The method involves starting up the system (10), subjecting it to at least one vibratory movement whose parameters are set so as to produce a resultant movement of each element (11, 12, 13, 14A, 14B) carrying the connections of the system, and so as to break the contact at each element with an incorrect connection, but not to break any correct connections; the malfunctioning of the system when such a break occurs is detected, thus indicating the existence of a faulty connection. <IMAGE>
