The appliance for cleaning especially extremely dirty work-shoes has a storage container (19) for the emulsion consisting of water, fish oil, wax-containing emulsifier and disinfectant, a spray-gun (15) is attached to a compressed-air pipe (18). The storage container has an air-connection (22) with compressed air for circulating the emulsion in it. The cleaning surface has a grid (10) above which is a suction-device (13), and below which is a trough (25) for collecting the dirty water. USE/ADVANTAGE - The appliance both cleans and polishes the work-shoes.
