The vehicle roof has a solid surface with a reinforcing-frame (15), and an opening which can be closed by a panel (12). A guide-frame (14) carries the operating drive for the panel. The gap between the edge of the opening and the panel is closed by a seal (30). The seal, or a fastening-rail (37) carrying the seal, is combined with the guide-frame into a single assembly, which can be fixed to the reinforcing-frame. USE/ADVANTAGE - Weather sealing for a vehicle sun-roof. The manufucturing process is simplified.
