The attenuation adjuster has a strip conductor line (1) located between layers (2,3) of dielectric material, the outer surfaces of which carry electically conducting layers. A branch line (6) projects at right angles from the strip line and the outer conducting layers are cut away in this region. The combination of the branch section and the cut aways determine the attenuation level. ADVANTAGE - Allows attenuation to be adjusted.
