The device according to the invention allows open or closed raised patterns to be produced automatically by depositing material of the resin type on a support such as a textile or leather. It includes: means for depositing marking material, which means are in the form of an injection head (11) connected to means (16) for supplying material and to means (21) for controlling the discharge of material. The head (11) is mounted on an arm which can be moved, on the one hand, in the x and y directions, parallel to the bed (3) which receives the support (6) and, on the other hand, vertically. The means for vertical displacement of the head (11) interact with a system for adjusting (14) and maintaining (13) the position of the head (11) with respect to the support (6) during depositing, in order to control the attachment of the material to the support. The invention finds a particularly beneficial application in the field of raised decoration particularly of garments or footwear articles. <IMAGE>
