摘要 |
PURPOSE:To obtain a catalyst by which malodorous substances are perfectly removed at a relatively low temp. without using a harmful substance such as ozone by using a metal oxide-gold mixture. CONSTITUTION:Fine gold particles are fixed on a metal oxide such as a p-type semiconductor oxide, e.g. cobalt oxide or nickel oxide or an n-type semiconductor oxide, e.g. iron oxide or titanium oxide and this gold fixed metal oxide is supported on a metal oxide carrier such as alumina or silica or a metal carrier such as stainless steel or iron. When the resulting catalyst is used, malodorous components such as aldehydes and ketones are easily oxidized and removed at a relatively low temp. without using a harmful substance such as ozone. |
