发明名称
摘要 A device is described for automatically adjusting the length of the hose of a Bowden cable, which is particularly suitable for Bowden cables with which large forces are transmitted. The Bowden cable hose ends in a sleeve with a stepped external diameter with which it can be pushed into a housing fixed to the structure, against the force of a compression spring. The housing contains a stack of spacer discs which rest under spring force on the large diameter of the sleeve, and which fall onto the small sleeve diameter successively, when the sleeve is moved out of the housing. The discs which have fallen in extend the hose in each case by their thickness and form the opposing bearing, between the sleeve collar and the inner wall of the housing, for the force exerted on the Bowden cable. In one special embodiment, the device is provided with mechanical means (accessible from outside the housing), as a result of whose operation the spacer discs which have already fallen in can be returned to their original position. In a further embodiment, the spacer discs can be returned to their original position by means of a sleeve having such an asymmetric shape that the spacer discs can be returned to their original position by rotating the sleeve through 90 DEG , moving it into the end fitting and turning the sleeve back. This embodiment is characterised by being closed on all sides and having no external apertures whatsoever through which water, dirt and the like can penetrate. <IMAGE>
