PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of the vibration or noise due to bookbinding to the outside of a bookbinding apparatus and to enhance safety. CONSTITUTION:A bookbinding apparatus is equipped with a finish tray extending in a predetermined direction to receive a plurality of papers as a paper bundle, the panel 3a provided in the vicinity to the finish tray 400 on the lateral side thereof, a side fence not shown in a drawing discharging the paper bundle S bound by a stapler from the finish tray 400 through the discharge port 201 of the panel 3a and a door 205 provided so as to open and close the discharge port 201 of the panel 3a and opening the discharge port 201 at the time of the discharge of the paper bundle S and closing the same at the time of the non-discharge of the paper bundle S. |
