PURPOSE:To provide a forming process for dynamic pressure grooves, in which control program for controlling on/off of radiation of laser beam can be made to simple and generic. CONSTITUTION:The on/off of irradiation with the laser beam to a shaft member 1 continuously rotated, is executed with time interval according to groove width ratio of the dynamic pressure grooves 2. Successively, the irradiated position of the laser beam to the shaft member 1 is shifted in the axial direction of the shaft member 1, and according to the groove specification of the dynamic pressure grooves 2, starting time of the on/off of irradiation are set and the grooves 2a, 2b, 2c are formed in the axial direction of shaft member 1, in order. In such a way, only by setting the starting time of the on/off of irradiation and the time interval of the on/off of irradiation, the dynamic pressure grooves having the prescribed groove specification can be formed to the shaft member. Therefore, the control program for computer, controlling the on/off of irradiation, can be made to simple and genetric. |
