PURPOSE:To effectively oxidize and clean a catalyst with good heat-exchange efficiency for the case where the catalyst is exposed to even a corrosive gas by dividing the main body into two sections by a partition wall, providing a heat accumulator bed on the open side of each' section and the catalyst and heater on the closed side to constitute a unit and alternately circulating exhaust gas through the units through a damper. CONSTITUTION:This device consists of >=2 catalyst cleaning units, the main body 14 is divided into two sections by a partition wall 8, and the one end of the main body 14 is opened and the other closed. A heat accumulator bed 6 is provided on the open side of each section and the catalyst 9 and heater 10 on the closed side. The exhaust gas is passed through the bed 6 and purified by the catalyst 9 and heater 10, the heat is exchanged by another bed 9, and the exhaust gas is cooled and discharged from the outlet-side passage 11 of the opening 5. The flow direction of the exhaust gas is reversed after a specified time by operating the damper. Accordingly, heat energy is effectively utilized, and a corrosion-resistant material can be used for the heat accumulator. |
