PURPOSE:To perform sharp marking display and to also easily correspond to the alteration of marking display by forming a photosensitive film on the surface to be marked of an electronic part to expose only the necessary part thereof to light and subsequently discoloring the exposed part to fix the same. CONSTITUTION:Photosensitive liquid paint is applied to the surface 1a to be marked of an electronic part 1 to form a photosensitive film 5 which is, in turn, irradiated with the light from a light irradiating device 2 to expose only the necessary part corresponding to the display of a marking character or figure to light. For example, the operation of the light irradiating device is controlled by a microcomputer 3. When a developing solution is applied to this film 5, only the exposed part is discolored. Subsequently, the discolored part is coated with a fixing solution and a heater 4 is allowed to approach the fixed part to dry the same to fix a mark to the surface 1a to be marked. |
