DRAW FORMING OF COMPOSITE PLASTIC MATERIAL AND ITS DEVICE

PURPOSE:To remove the resin pressed out at the inlet of a die in the draw forming of composite plastic material. CONSTITUTION:The composite material 10 composed of the continuous fiber impregnated with liquid resin is caused to pass through the forming hole 14 of a die 3 by the drawing force applied thereto from the rear of the die 3. Then, the composite material 10 is drawn at the inlet 13 of the forming hole 14, whereby the excessive resin in the resin impregnated is said material 10 is pressed out. The pressed out excessive resin is blown away to the part separated from the inlet by the gas blown to the periphery of the die-inlet 13 from the nozzle 16 provided at the inlet side of the die 3.
