PURPOSE:To obtain knowledge acquisition technique which facilitates the structure of a knowledge base in the expert system. CONSTITUTION:A knowledge acquisition tool consists principally of an example preprocessing part 21 deleting or altering examples which do not satisfy constant evaluation standards as to examples to be analyzed, a rule generation part 22 which extracts regularity from the examples to generate a rule, and a rule evaluation part 23 which evaluates the generated rule.
