<p>Provided are novel phenolic-functional polyesters which are prepared by a direct polycondensation process. The polyesters formed therefrom are useful in enamel compositions and upon curing provide coatings which exhibit superior hardness, impact resistance and acid resistance heretofore unachievable with other polyester-based coatings.</p> |
