<p>A steam generator for a wall paper steamer comprises a two section (2, 3) boiler. The sections are of light alloy and are secured together with adhesive at a spigot and socket joint (4, 5). The boiler is mounted in a framework of aluminium tube. This has two trapezium ends and interconnecting members. The boiler is secured to bottom members (46). Top members (47) support a stepping board (49).</p>
