<p>The blocks of the building set have coupling studs (1) and corresponding counter-coupling elements (2) in a square grid with a module (M). In order that bend-resistant supports can also be built, the building set has single-row connection rods (34) with two end studs (35), the distance of which from one another is 2ROOT 2 times a whole-number multiple of the module (M), as well as boom elements (10) which have, on two opposite end faces (11, 12), centring means (21) and, on two neighbouring side faces (13, 14), respectively, a single stud row with modular separation and, parallel to these side faces, a projection (17, 18) extended backwards by the thickness of the connecting rods (34).
