The invention relates to a belt conveyor for supplying, conveying and filling bulk material into closely arranged containers on a small surface. The belt conveyor has a box-like support (104) with a guide roller (105, 106) arranged to rotate laterally at its ends, about which runs a conveyor belt (107). Beneath the support (104) is a second box-like support (109) having lateral guide rollers (110, 111) at its ends about which runs a conveyor belt (112), whereby the conveyor belts (105, 106, 107; 110, 111, 112) are arranged longitudinally one above the other. The lower support (109) is suspended from the upper support (104) and, together with the lower conveyor belt (110, 111, 112), can travel relatively thereto in the longitudinal direction of the conveyor belts (107, 112) but independently of their movement, whereby the bulk of travel of both conveyor belts (107, 112) is reversible. The upper support (104) can be horizontally pivotable at one end on a circular path, the axis or rotation (123) of which is perpendicular to the upper conveyor belt (107), whereby the pourable material is supplied to the upper conveyor belt (107) by the axis of rotation (123) of the support (104). The belt conveyor can be adjustable for height on a support (102) arranged to slide up and down on a vertical column (100). |
