Method and device for continuously readjusting panoramic surveillance images which consists in using characteristic points extracted from the image during its acquisition (1), in comparing them with the characteristic points of the previous image (4) and in estimating, in a continuous fashion, the instantaneous parameters of the deformation by application of the Kalman filter (5) from measurements of the differences between the predicted characteristic points and those obtained in the current image.
