摘要 PURPOSE:To enable operation controlling generation of white smoke while economic operation is being put into operation, by a method wherein a quantity of ventilation is controlled based on a temperature difference of air at positions before and behind passing of the same through a water versus air heat exchanger arranged between a sprinkler and a blower and a quantity of sprinkling is controlled based on the temperature of cold water to be fed to a load. CONSTITUTION:A part of water to be cooled is supplied to a water versus air heat exchanger by adjusting an opening of a control valve 10. Then a quantity of bypassed water to a bypass pipe 11 is controlled by a control valve 12 within a scope wherein the temperature of cold water to be detected by a temperature detector 19 does not become higher than a region of a desired water temperature, a temperature difference of exhaust at positions before and behind passing of the same through a water versus air heat exchanger 5 is detected by temperature detectors 16, 17, and a blade angle and the number of revolutions of a blower 3 are controlled by a controllers 13, 14 so that the temperature of the cold water to be supplied to a load L falls within a scope satisfying a desired water temperature. With this construction, a quantity of water to be sprinkled to a functional part 1 of heat exchange is reduced to the necessary minimum, the temperature of the exhaust is dropped and preventive operation of white smoke can be practiced under a quantity of necessary minimum ventilation.
