PURPOSE:To offer an autofocusing device with can execute good adjustment of the image-formation position of an object even in the case that the object is comparatively in far distance when there is a very strong light source. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a lens driving part 18 which adjusts the image-formation position of an object 16, a distance detecting part 8 which projects light to the objects 16, receives reflected light from the object by a PSD 3, detects the distance to the object 16 by a triangulation, and outputs the distance as range-finding data, and a microcomputer 1 which executes an arithmetic calculation based on the range-finding data and controls the lens driving part 18. Furthermore, the microcomputer 1 sets the range-finding data as a specified value and controls the lens driving part 18 based on the range- finding data set when the range-finding data are out of a range previously decided. |
