A hanger for use in a roofing trim assembly having a trim channel, the hanger having a wire rod shank having upper and lower ends, an upper fstening at the upper end of the shank, an intermediate fastening intermediate the upper and lower ends, a generally L-shaped foot portion extending from the lower end of the shank, and, a channel support portion connected by a radiussed bend, to the free end of the foot portion, the channel support portion and the said foot portion forming a trim engaging nip to receive a portion of the trim channel.
