PURPOSE:To provide the subject treating agent containing a specified polymer, a specified copolymer, etc., useful for surface treatment of an organic-inorganic composite material composed of an organic polymer and an inorganic substance and capable of strongly bonding an organic polymer material to an inorganic filler. CONSTITUTION:An objective treatment obtained by adding an additive such as a hydrolyzable organometallic compound of formula RaMXb (R is organic group; M is Si, Al, etc.; X is hydrolyzable group; a and b are integer depending on valence of M), preferably tetrametoxysilane, etc., its hydrolyzed product or its partial condensate and water, a compound containing a specific stoichiometric ratio of water or a compound produced accompanying the reaction, to a polymer, a copolymer and/or an oligomer (amide polymer) preferably having one or more amide bond in the molecule. |
