PURPOSE:To reduce the types of operated keys and to facilitate an input operation by outputting the signal of the reading KANA(Japanese syllabary) of KANJI(Chinese character) when a key for KANA input is depressed by a first stroke amount and outputting the signal of unconverted KANA when it is depressed by a second stroke amount. CONSTITUTION:An input part 15 is provided with the key for KANA input 16 which can sink for two stages in accordance with a depressed amount. When the key 16 is depressed so that it sinks by the first stroke amount being a prescribed sink amount, it outputs the signal of the reading KANA of KANJI for converting KANA corresponding to the key 16 into KANJI. It outputs the signal of unconverted KANA corresponding to the key 16 when the key is depressed so that it sinks by the second stroke amount being the sink amount larger than the first stroke amount. Thus, the function keys of a conversion key and a non-conversion key are eliminated from being shared at every unit of inputted KANA, the types of the operated keys is reduced, the input operation becomes easy and input time can be shortened. |
