PURPOSE:To obtain the releasing method by which an input of a password is released, based on a certain specific key sequence operation so as to go into the next step, a computer can be started or set up even if the password is forgotten, and others cannot start the computer nor set it up. CONSTITUTION:The electronic apparatus is constituted so that for instance, a power source 5 is turned on, a key sequence operation is executed in order of depression of the left shift key, depression of the right shift key, depression of the left control key, depression of the right control key, and simultaneous depression of the left and the right alto key. This sequence is stored in advance in a password memory 16, and whether a key operation execution after the power source 5 is turned on is implemented in order of this key sequence or not is checked by a comparator 18. In the case the key sequence is different, the start operation is suspended until an input of a password is executed. In the case the same sequence is set, a computer starts the start. |
