OPTICAL CONNECTION DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE:To quicken the speed of a switch and to attain lots of terminal number for the switch used for transmission of a signal between integrated circuit mount boards and between integrated circuit elements. CONSTITUTION:An address signal 12 and a data signal 13 inputted to an input terminal 1 are converted into optical signals via a light emitting element drive circuit 2 and a light emitting element 3, and distributed and coupled to four light receiving elements 5-1-5-4 via an optical guide path such as an optical fiber. The distributed optical signal is subject to photoelectric conversion at each output channel comprising a light receiving element and a processing circuit succeeding thereto and the result is sent to an AND circuit and an address comparator circuit through a light receiving amplifier. Address comparator circuits 7-1-7-4 compare the address signal 12 and channel addresses 9-1-9-4 assigned to each output channel in advance and send the result of comparison to the AND circuit. As a result, outputs of AND circuits 10-1-10-4 are respectively outputted from output terminals 11-1-11-4 of each output channel.
