PURPOSE:To improve the operability of character synthesizing processing by displaying character size determined by a prescribed format in an input dialogue box at the time of synthesizing a character of the size determined by the prescribed format and a character whose size can be specified. CONSTITUTION:When character synthesis is instructed, a CPU 1 displays a dialogue box for synthesis based upon information stored in a synthesis dialogue control information storing area 3-2 of a RAM 3. When the 1st and 2nd characters and their sizes are inputted from an input device 4, the CPU 1 acquires the inputted data, sets up the inputted data in the area 3-2 and erases the dialogue box displayed on a CRT 5. Then the CPU 1 writes a control code specified by a pointer for pointing out the form reference information of a cursor position to a text, the 2nd character size and the 1st and 2nd characters in accordance with the dialogue control information and displays a synthesized character on the CRT 5. |
