OPTICAL READING CONTROL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To prevent an optical line set from being incorrectly set up even when a recording medium is inclinded more than a certain degree in respect to an optical reading control system for optically reading out a hyphen mark printed on the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:An area table part 2 is a table for determining the detection area of a hyphen mark detected by an image sensor part 4, constituted of a reference pattern table and tables obtained by shifting the reference pattern table to fight and left and set up by software. An area table selecting part 3 selects an area table corresponding to the degree of inclination from the area table part 2 based upon recording medium inclination degree detecting data sent from an inclination degree detecting part 1. The image sensor 4 detects the hyphen mark based upon the selected area table and a main control part 5 controls the sucking operation of the recording medium based upon the detection data of the hyphen mark detected by the image sensor part 4 and sets up an optical line.
