PURPOSE:To prolong the service life of a recording head, by applying a drop forming energy to a liquid composition of a dye containing a metal as a film-forming means during the flow of a liquid path to form a flying drop. CONSTITUTION:A dye containing a metal as a film-forming means is dissolved or dispersed in a liquid medium, preferably water and/or a water-soluble organic solvent such as diethylene glycol, to form a liquid composition, which is then subjected to energy, e.g. heat, in a part 107 for applying a drop forming energy connected to an extrusion orifice 105 to form a flying drop. Thus, a reformable film is formed. |
