PURPOSE:To prevent lowering of charging efficiency through to be caused by decomposition of the electrolyte, and prevent breakdown of the carbon material, and manufacture negative electrode having high capacity density. CONSTITUTION:The surface, which contacts to the carbon electrolyte as the active material, is covered by amorphous carbon. As amorphous carbon, random layer structure carbon is desirable. More desirably, random layer structure carbon having a mean spacing in the c-axis direction at 0.337-0.360nm and peak strength ratio of 1360cm<-1> against 1580cm<-1> of argon laser Raman spectrum at 0.4-1.0. |
