A rotary power tool holder, particularly a holder for rotary power handsaws, has a bottom wall including a longitudinal slot for the circular saw or tool element. A side wall parallel to the slot has a projection to engage the tool guard. This projection can be varied to accommodate different guards, its distance from and height above the slot can be varied to accommodate different rotary power saw models.
