<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a tape driving device which can select the most efficient one at the time of selecting a motor capacity and can extremely effectively reduce the size, weight, and running cost of the whole device. CONSTITUTION:A capstan shaft for constantly driving a tape drawn out from a cassette is rotated by means of a capstan motor 11 and the take-up reel base 21 of the cassette is rotated by means of a reel motor 23. When the taking-up of the tape on the reel base side is made in a fast-forwarding mode, a transmitting route is formed of a clutch gear 14, change-over gear 30, etc., to transmit the rotating force of the motor 11 to the reel base and support the driving force of the motor 23 and, when the taking-up is made in a low- speed taking-up mode, the transmitting route is turned off so that the reel base can be rotated by means of the driving force of the motor 23 only.</p> |
