PURPOSE:To enable a trouble due to contamination of a magnetic head to be reduced. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic bankbook processing unit 1 carries a magnetic bankbook 10 to a specified position when the magnetic bankbook 10 with a magnetic stripe where data can be read and written is inserted. A magnetic head 2 rotates and rocks when the magnetic bankbook 10 is inserted and contacts a magnetic stripe of the magnetic bankbook 10. A cleaning paper 3 contacts a write/read surface of the rocking magnetic head 2 and then wipes off contamination. |
