PURPOSE:To move articles which are aligned on a belt conveyor to a specified article feeding location of a packaging machine without clamping them. CONSTITUTION:Articles 1 are transferred to a positioning conveyor 21 which has comb-tooth shaped gaps, and after the articles 1 are temporarily stopped at specified positions on the said conveyor 21, driving of the conveyor 21 is stopped and the conveyor 21 is lowered to transfer the articles 1 on the upper surface 61a of a receiving bar 61 for a slide conveyor 22, which is exposed from above mentioned gaps. The receiving bar 61 is moved under a rotary shutter 79 of an elevating frame 66 which stands by at the top of the ascending position, by advancing the slide conveyor 22, and when the elevating frame 66 is lowered, the articles 1 on the receiving bar 61 are transferred to the rotary shutter 79. When the elevating frame is further lowered and the rotary shutter 79 is opened, the article 1 drop and enter an article feeding position 49. |
