PURPOSE:To provide cement of high dimensional stability. CONSTITUTION:In a conventional cement formulation for construction material boards or slabs comprising (A) cement, (B) silica sand and (C) reinforcing fibers, 3-7wt.% of the silica sand is replaced by fine silica sand or silica fume >=10000cm<2>/g in Blaine value, and furthermore, this formulation is incorporated with 3-7wt.% of mica. Water is then added to the resulting cement formulation followed by shaping and curing, thus obtaining the objective cement product. Combination of both fine powdered silica and mica will provide the present cement product with highly excellent dimensional stability. |
