PURPOSE:To simplify a structure of an air conditioner for use in performing a local cooling operation, reduce an operation cost and further improve a dwelling characteristic in a dwelling spacing. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of heat transmitting pipes 2 disposed in a predetermined spacing are held by a metallic net 3 and formed into some plates to construct a heat exchanging module. This heat exchanging module is bent into a parasol shape to make a utilization side heat exchanger 1. The heat exchanger 1 is arranged by a supporting column 5 at a predetermined height position from a ground G so as to cause a lower spacing of the utilization side heat exchanger 1 to become a dwelling spacing 10. In turn, a cover member 6 is disposed at an upper surface of the utilization side heat exchanger 1 with a predetermined spacing being left thereagainst so as to cause a spacing between the utilization side heat exchanger 1 and the cover member 6 to become an air blowing chamber 7 and at the same time air supplied from a fan 12 into the air blowing chamber 7 is passed to the dwelling spacing 10 and blown out of it. |
