The invention relates to a magnetic transducer intended to form, on a magnetic recording surface, latent images consisting of magnetised points. This transducer comprises at least one magnetic recording head (T) consisting of a recording pole (P) ending in the proximity of the recording surface, of a conducting coil (E) surrounding the recording pole (P), of a substrate (ST) carrying the recording pole (P) and the conducting coil (E), in the proximity of the recording surface. The substrate (ST), made from a semiconductor material, includes at least one electronic junction (p, n) which is interposed in the electrical circuit for supplying the conducting coil (E), in order to control the flow of current into this coil.
