The invention relates to an automatic weapon, a machine gun or cannon, with a very high rate of fire of 6,000 projectiles per minute. It consists of 10 non-rotating tubes arranged in a crown shape. The tubes are fed simultaneously by a barrel (22, Fig. 2), which is fed by a cellular conveyor belt (16, Fig. 2) picking up the ammunition on a strip (10, Fig. 2) which is free or contained in a magazine (11, Fig. 2) with a rotating drum (12, Fig. 2). The simultaneous rotations through 360 DEG of the barrel and of the belt hub are achieved by the recoil of the annular breech equipped with two partially threaded rods (20 and 21, Fig. 2) actuating 2 free wheels (23 and 24, Fig. 2) turning off load in opposite directions when the breech advances. The front end of the tubes is fitted with a device making it possible, by differential divergences in the gunsight lines, to adjust the dispersion of the impact points according to the geometric configuration of the target. The invention uses all existing or future ammunition. The invention is particularly intended for saturation firing (anti-aircraft, for example). <IMAGE>
