PURPOSE:To make excellent the electric characteristics, by removing the external side of one part of angles at least of the quartz plate, so that the shape of projection toward diagonal direction almost shows a rectangular form, and separating the subresonance from the main resonance and eliminating the increase in the resonance resistance due to temperature change. CONSTITUTION:The subresonance 21 is separated from the main resonance 1, by removing the size C only so that the external side of angles of one part at least of the quartz plate and the projection shape toward diagonal direction show almost a rectangular shape. The amount of removal is in the range of (2-6)X10<-2> to the profile size. Since the subresonance 21 is separated from the main resonance 1, the remarkable increase in the resonant resistance due to the change in ambient temperature is not incurred. |
