PURPOSE:To prepare the title compsn. which is useful for preparing a durable coating material excellent in adhesive properties by compounding a phenol resin contg. specific polynuclear phenols and a chlorinated polyolefin resin. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. is prepd. by compounding a phenol resin contg. at least 40wt.% ortho-bonded polynuclear phenols of the formula (wherein X is an electron-attractive group; and n is an average degree of polymn. of 2-5) and a chlorinated polyolefin resin having a chlorine content of 35wt.% or lower, pref. 24-28wt.%, and pref. being a chlorinated polypropylene and/or a modified resin thereof in a wt. ratio of the former resin to the latter of (90:10)-(5:95). |
