PURPOSE:To allow a navigation device to navigate a subject with care in a predetermined area and to better the serviceability of the device by displaying information about the current position relative to a first destination when the current position exists within the predetermined area including the first destination, and displaying information about a second destination when the current position goes out of the predetermined area. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of targets are set by an input portion 9 and then navigation for the first target is carried out and the distance to and direction of the first target are displayed 7. When the current position reaches the target zone a first beep is emitted from a buzzer 5 and the target zone is displayed 7 as having been detected. Even after the current position enters into the target zone the distance to and direction f the target can be displayed by control of the input portion 9. When the current position goes out of the first target zone a second beep is emitted from the buzzer 5 and information about a second destination is displayed. |
