PURPOSE:To protect a double seam joint formed between the flange of a container and the peripheral edge of a metal lid if the container is dropped. CONSTITUTION:A title container comprises a plastic container body 11 having a flange 13, a metal lid 16 having a peripheral edge part 17 adapted to join with the flange 13 to form a double seam, a plastic protective cover 20 provided to cover the metal lid 16, and a bent part 23 formed around the lower peripheral edge of the protective cover 20 to engage with the double seam joint 18. |
